On 25-7-2008 hollyberry said : "At last! Just what Ballycastle needed, an establishment with a bit of class and good food with a friendly welcome from owners Gemma and Philip McHenry. Staff are very professional, courteous and friendly without being intrusive. This pub beats the local hotel and other establishments hands down. Customer service is excellent as is the food. This bar has it all and is child friendly too. The pub downstairs is great and upstairs in the restaurant - well - all I can say is visit soon and be pleasantly surprised! The chef and his team are doing a great job - so keep up the fantastic work. This place caters for all age groups from the bar downstairs to the niteclub upstairs. This is the Trendy place to visit in Ballycastle. It has a beer garden which caters for smokers. Overall this bar deserves 10/10 for great atmosphere, great food, excellent facilities and good luck to Gemma and Philip, their hard work has paid off and I wish them every success in the future with their business. From a very satisfied customer."
         

On 04-11-2007 brighton said : "I was visiting from England last week and I had dinner at the Cenral with four friends. We thought the food was superb and the presentation equally brilliant. The young lady serving us was very attentive and helpful. We also thought the decor was very tasteful and I would certainly recommend eating in the restaurant. Even the toilets were spotless. Well done, 10/10"
         

On 13-8-2007 eamob said : "What a pub! Downstairs a friendly atmosphere with plenty of space - upstairs a classy restaurant with food of the highest quality. Upstairs on a Saturday night is transitioned into the biggest club in town. Plenty of plasma tv's to watch the best sporting events and a great pint of Guinness! - You need go nowhere else - highly recommend spending the weekend in the pub! Philip and Gemma are always welcoming and you'll always find a friend to talk to at the bar."

The new restaurant has amazing food just what Ballycastle needed you must try the chicken caesar salad it is to die for and you will always get a friendly welcome from owners Gemma and Philip. Great live music at the weekends. The best bar in hte north! "
