"Regarding peter 1982,s comments he must have visited a different pub due to the fact that food has not been served in the dove since before xmas 2008. wednesdays are a very quiet night and have never been full of teenagers although all ages are welcome, even those born in 1982.familys are always welcome and we have never had any complaints but plenty of compliments. im just posting this to advise future customers that peters comments are probably about another pub due to all the obvious errors."

"The Dove Inn in Barnsley is a very friendly pub, about 5 minute walk from Bansley town centre. I have been in this pub many times and have always been greated with a warm, friendly atmosphere. People of all ages are welcome, which is great for familys. The range of drinks and snacks are perfect, something to suit everyone, wether your after Real Ales or something a little stronger. The have a quiz every Tuesday night, the land lady really goes to town and serves some of the best food i have tasted, catering for everyone! The Dove Inn also has a great karaoke every Friday night which i have had an amazing time, lots of laughs. To the rear is a balcony which has seating and heaters the balcony also leads down to a large paved area with seating, shelter and lighting for the smokers out there. Great transport facilities as there is a bus stop right outside or the train station about a 5 minute walk away. Overall this pub is one of the nicest, cleanest most friendliest pubs i have been in. 10 out of 10."
