"Not quite sure about this pub, seems nice enough on the outside, usually, but as there isn't a designated seating area, everyone congregates by the main entrance. This can feel very intimidating, as the crowd there are usually loud and they are joined by others, who have got their cans of drinks elsewhere. The inside is tired looking, the raised area has a threadbare carpet and minimum seating, though this is probably where the dj plays on disco nights, (do they still have disco nights or am I just getting old). There are a lot of children there, some running about, riding their bicycles around or in pushchairs (buggies for the younger readers). Their parents even have their buggies at the bar and some are even holding them whilst standing at the bar. There is an upstairs area, which looks a bit neater, the toilets are also upstairs. There is a sign behind the bar which says 'A good deal of quality', though looking around the place, I couldn't see any sign of it. Maybe it is geared up for the younger crowd. I doubt I'll be visiting again, but don't let me put you off, it may be more to your taste."
