On 02-8-2010 candy2 said : "Cleanliness of pub? Disgusting, tables dirty flys all over the pub really annoying when trying to eat and they keep landing on your plate or the side of your glass!! Range of drinks available? Good Range but then Wetherspoons always are and you cant really go too wrong with opening a bottle or pulling a pint! Good location for transport? Parking was not good, idiots parking slanted across two spaces ok not the pubs fault but really inconvenient Food? Bar snacks or restaurant type? There was 7 of us - none of us were happy the steaks were cooked on dirty grills you could taste it as the steak came out black and you could taste all the other old food on it made it taste sour, asked for rare came out well done! The roast dinner was dry, we enlarged so we could have extras but the staff failed to tell us at the time that they only had 1 out of 3 extras and instead gave us extra veg not what we paid extra for. As for the brunch the egg yolks were crunchy, sausages were like leather and the beans were left so long they had a skin of there own - WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! Clientele? Young? Mature? A mixture? one word - ROUGH - if your face dont fit you have had it, my brother got starred at throughout the whole time we were there he did nothing yet a group of 5 lads would not leave him alone - it was really uncomfortable just walking through to our seats It is not a good pub at all which is a shame I spend alot of time in Wetherspoons but I have to say this one is the most disappointing and would not recommend it to anyone - It is overall dirty, food is disgusting and the type of people who use this pub are not your happy go friendly it is bad, bad, bad.
