"This pub has been shut a couple of years now. It was once a thriving place and is one of Camra's Heritage Pubs with a fantastic interior.
Unfortunately, after a succession of changes of who was running it, the place declined massively. Last time I set foot was a peak time Saturday evening and me and my mate were the only ones in there. There were signs of neglect and vandalism all over the place with windows broken and seats ripped apart. A disinterested barmaid and no real ales on.
Hopefully it will eventually be re-opened and whoever takes it on will do something better with it. As far as interiors go this place is stunning."
