"This is a wonderful friendly pub in a rural but accessible location. There are always five or more real ales on offer from local breweries and others further afield together with Thatchers cloudy cider and a selection of bottled ale and bottled cider. The menu is a little pricey but well worth the expense. The staff are very accomodating as they allow you to sample the beer first if you wish. They are particularly receptive to to veggies with two or three options on offer and they also cater for wheat free folk if necessary. They aim to please ... so just ask!!! The beer garden is lovely in the summer. Mixed clientele. Lord knows why but this ale house is not in the CAMRA good beer guide. It has fine, well kept ale. "
