| On 20-2-2010 tpmsolutions said : "excellent friendy pub friendly staff and management. excellent ale, lots going on monday mens darts, every tuesday its terry quiz night with music and picture questions good fun night with free supper best quiz in town, wednesday night is ladies darts, thursday is pool night, friday, saturday and sunday live artists including, Alisha, Kylie, Julie, Micky Dee, Gino and others. Planning to start serving meals from easter with rooms to let soon, overall a great atmosphere"
On 21-6-2005 thespicester said : "Extended and refurbished - a far cry from the old locals pub of only a couple of years ago. Tetley mild and bitter on hand pull along with Tetley smmoth on Nito and the usual lagers and ciders. Friendly and currently popular."
