Beer prices border on extortion! The food appears to be all preprepared off-site. Definitely not a pub to frequent if good draught beers and good company are your requirement! ..."

"What a smashing pub! Fantastic beers and really friendly customers. The young couple - Mark and Katy - that now run the pub are a lovely couple and are really making an effort. The food really is home-made and very reasonably priced.

"Lovely real ales, all in first class condition,
many beers, up to 8 usually, landlady is friendly and helpful.
The landlord is well known to be grumpy, has trouble welcoming anyone apart from his regulars.
When he serves visitors, he will just raise his head a few inch's,with a vacant look instead of asking "what you would like to drink"
