On 12-11-2009 dudleyc said : "Indeed this pub has been called The Wishing Well for several years now. When it fist changed I was sorry to see the Shoulder go but the fantastic garden, fine range of ales and busy weekends won me over. The also did some fantastic bar food for a year or so though only at certain times in the day which made trying to eat there a difficult but rewarding experience. The kitchen is now gone and has been replaced by a pool table which is a shame. Recently however it seems to have gone down hill. I read the owner was trying to sell it and on a recent visit all of the real ales we're off, the garden was dirty and poorly upkept and the service quite poor in the bar which itself seemed dirty and uncared for. A real shame to see if left to go to ruin. Hopefully someone will take it over and get it back to how it was."
         

On 07-6-2005 theritzbros said : "This pub is now called The Wishing Well It has a great atmoshphere, very good beer - Tom keeps a good pint, always have 4 real ales on AND they have LIVE music. AREAL band playing REAL instruments, not glorified Karioke Get there on the 25th June 2005 to see the FABULOUS Ritz Bros. A good time is ALWAYS guaranteed with these boys!"
         

On 04-3-2005 robbieboy said : "Refit is now complete, not been in yet but friends who have say its great. Pub has now been renamed the wishing well, which has caused an uproar as there has always been a shoulder of mutton pub in bromsgrove until now. "
         

On 27-10-2004 robbieboy said : "Always used to be a good drinking pub, its now been taken over by the same people who own the hop pole inn in bromsgrove. Which is a good indication that it will be even better when the refit is finished"
