"the milton changed hands in dec 2010 and since has seen a resurgence in popularity. its a good clean pub with staff who know what there doing, although it can be a wee wait to get served at busy times.the staff will do all they can to make your stay welcome. while they normally only have one or two real ales at a time you can taste that the cellar side is well looked after as all the beer tastes as it should.good mix of customers from young to old and i would say its a traditional pub. seperate dining room if you want to eat in a more relaxed enviroment from the main bar, also a snug at the front with a real fire for colder weather.most folk smoke in the rear yard where theres a table and seats provided.great location slap bang in the middle of town and a huge pay and display car park behind.while i would describe it as a drinkers pub the food is very nice and good value, a good variety on the menu although only sunday roasts on a sunday, be there early to avoid dissapointment.all in all a good friendly fun pub."
