"Nicely located and well decorated pub, but badly run with miserable staff. Went on a Sunday for carvery lunch, almost uneatable, total absence of waitress. Have to wait for table (although many are free)summonned by waitress yelling name around bar and garden. Nice! Long queue for carvery, stringy beef, appalling roast potatoes, but veg well done. Shan't go back there again!"

"As said in previous review, it's a Toby in every sense. They have taken an old pub and modernised it beyond belief for those of us that remember the 'sixties' well !!
Standards overall are high with an emphasis on food (carvery) and decent accommodation but ....a tad on the pricey side even by Surrey standards.
Tourists, Ideal for overnight stops / long week-ends etc.etc. as the area has some superb facilities/events/ history and it's only 40 minutes to London."

"The One Oak is a modern looking pub inside that is part of the Toby chain. It's very friendly"
