All in all, a great little boozer, with resturant quality food and quick service - great on a sunny summer's day, and cosy on an English Summer's afternoon. Much better now the new people have taken over."

It's informal, relaxed & friendly. Of that which I've tasted from the menu, it has always been respectable pub grub, much of it (from what I could tell) freshly prepared on the premises. I for one look forward to my visits to this pub, where I invariably find the right balance between leaving me to read the papers & striking up a conversation. Keep up the good work."

Around the end of August 04 we had a problem with a particular group of customers and I feel these comments could have relevance to this. In our defence, for these 2 detrimental comments we have had literally dozens of complementary ones before and since. And if it is imagined that our food was frozen, that persons tastebuds were seriously at fault!
Large pinch of salt required, I think."
