On 28-2-2005 richard773cl said : "Very friendly Landlord, excellent for families in the back room. Superb pint of Jennings and great steak and ale pie."

On 16-2-2005 wildwillie said : "Called in one Sunday lunchtime. Landlord a bit stressed because people were sitting at the tables. Once he had calmed down we drank some Jennings Bitter (excellent) & ate beef hotpot which was good value for £4.95. Worth a visit if you are passing"
