"Just had lunch at The Royal and it has to be one of the best lunches I have had in ages. The fish supper is actually served up in Newspaper and was superb, and the Steak Pie that my wife had look and tasted absolutely delicious. Have been going to The Royal more and more of late, and its a warm friendly atmosphere with good staff, great live music ..."

Under new management - new modern trendy decor, good atmosphere and a great pint.
Also tried new bar meals on offer and must say that I give this:
10 out of 10 for variety
10 out of 10 for service
