On 12-6-2012 itd said : "Since new ownership this year this pub is so friendly. love going there. New owners are great, Great entertainment every other friday also quiz nights every other friday. New owners are really trying to pull this pub around back to the way it was years ago. Although its does not serve food there is a FAB curry & ROAST POTATOES served on quiz nights. Cold batches are avaliable to buy from behind the bar, but you must buy them quick as they are VERY popular. DONT let the outside or inside put you off this pub as new owners are working on this so it becomes even more inviting. It has a GREAT ATMOSPHERE with no trouble at all."

On 08-10-2010 twittydave said : "This pub isn't really a pub its a butty van with a bar.No food except from the butty van which is owned by the landlord.The car park was empty and it really has gone down hill.I can see why it wasn't busy,the overall appearance wasn't good so we walked out and made up our mind never to walk in there again.I cant really give anymore info as it was the worst pub I've been in in 35 years"
