On 21-6-2011 connor99 said : "Beer is good. Food is the usual pub fare but generous servings. Shut weekends and Bank Holidays in the afternoon!"

On 30-12-2005 tvr350i said : "very pleasant pub, with friendly staff that want to please. happy for you to sit with a half and take in the atmosphere, or have a game of dommies. good food at a reasonable price."

On 20-10-2005 dirtbiker13 said : "Used to be a real drinkers pub, but unfortunatly the meals have taken over. The landladyonce promised to keep the bar as a drinkers bar, but now it is full of people eating meals, and making a pint of beer last 2 hours. Great if you like eating in smokey bar rooms, poor if you like a good drink and a social night."
