"I stumbled across this pub whilst visiting a friend at Keele university. The staff were very welcoming and although the pub was busy, every effort was made to accommodate me with both a very nice pint of beer and a table to eat with my pal. The food was excellent (I advise the Steak and ale pie which comes with amazing chips!) and we ended up staying in all night! I shall definitely visit next time i'm in the area.

"I went into the Offley last week for a drink and a bite to eat. The restaurant was full (a good sign) but we still managed to get a table. They had some good beers on and the food was very good. Good pub food. I can recommend the steak pie and the chips were fantastic!!
I note that they have a number of fireplaces also, which will make for a cosy visit in the winter.
Overall I had a good impression of the pub. The decor is simple and light i.e. white walls and wooden floors. The landlord is a local lad, who stressed he uses local suppliers and sources. The locals I spoke to mentioned that the village is very happy the pub is open again, as it was shut for a while, whilst now having a strict no yob policy, which has brought the family feel back.
I would visit again.
