"This is always a very useful watering hole for us en route Cambridgeshire to Scotland via A1/Dere Street/A68. Food is cheap enough and the range of drinks is satisfying. The current owner is a bit temperamental and likes to foul the drinking/eating areas(several rooms) with smelly, pungent cigars. That apart we can't fault it. ..."

A lot of work on the front has been carried out to bring it up to scratch but problems with the builders have meant it’s not totally finished yet. No food served now and no kids (brilliant) or dogs (shame) just a cracking good traditional pub to go with friends for a pint of go ..."
