"By far the best public house I regularly visit to find a varity of extremely well kept beers. Alan the landlord is very knoweldgable and his staff are welcoming and chatty. You can even get a 4 pint carry keg to take home with you which i have done! It's facitlites are alway clean and there always a game of darts at hand or a decent chat to be had with the regulars. "

"Great selection of beers. probably the best in Derby.
Watch out for bearded men with duffel bags talking about steam trains....."

"A new and rather boring looking fašade leads to a nice two roomed pub concentrating on real ales and continental beers. There is a friendly, enthusiastic and, some might say, eccentric landlord who certainly knows his beers. The sort of place where you are bound to get into conversation if you are on your own. Try the large filled rolls to soak up some of the beer. Handily placed quite close to the train station and just up the road from the Brunswick Inn.
