"Interesting to see how 'places to be seen' venues are now pale shadows of their former glory.
In the 1980's this place was THE pub for a young man to drink in to see the best looking girls in Derby. The car park was full of Capri's and XR3i's. The lads all sported streaked mullet hairdo's and wore designer labels.
Now it's a quiet out of town pub. Nothing I can say about it really."

"OK for going with the family, but lacks character. It's exactly the same as all the Ember/Enterprise Inns places in the area. No different to the Markeaton/Jonty Farmer etc etc. It's clean enough, nicely done up, but lacks the character and atmosphere of a true drinking establishment."
