On 24-1-2009 kokolios said : "This pub has gone down-hill since Brian Minto had it. I don't know about barring customers, though. I have stopped going in but a reputable source says it's a nightmare on Friday nights with groups in who have been boozing all day swearing their heads off and generally making a nuisance of themselves. In fact they are going to stop going in too.
It's a shame what's happened to it, as I used to really enjoy going in.

As is always the case,when a longstanding landlord leaves a pub local scum 'try it on' and cause trouble-Mrs Hunter, the landlady,has barred 33 such people FOR LIFE and The Bath is becoming as busy and bustling as when Brian Minto had it.The meals are wonderful and Mrs H's home-made chips are second-to none.
She is also carrying on with the charity work of Mr Minto...so,Boris,with all due respect,if you do not like real pubs I suggest you stick to the Timepiece etc!!!!

On 12-7-2005 boris said : "Used to be the best pub in Dewsbury. Now it can only be said that its one of the worst, second only to the Rose and Crown!! Since the previous owners have left this pub has gone from bad to worse to even worse. DONT GO!!"
