On 18-9-2004 dove said : "Saw your site and decided to try my local ,non-smoking is lovely.My girlfriends and I all had a 2 course luch and it was superb at only £4.25 each .Loads of wines the house Rioja white was excellent value at £10.95 and the owner is single and impressive!!!!lovely feel to the pub very cosy and cottagey,made most welcome we will go often."

On 13-9-2004 peterdamian said : "superb real ales Adams Broadside at £2.40 pint Bombadier at £2.20 pint well kept,well served,super english A La Carte food and 2 course budget lunches for £4.25. Totally non smoking throughout so you dont go home smelling like an ashtray!!!.Was tOMMY COOPERS local so lots of memorabilia on display,and they have a pub quiz every other thursday night at 8pm. WELL WORTH A VISIT they have over 20 wines available by the glass. "
