"Pub much improved since previous comments were added. Must be Farnham's cheapest pub on drink prices, and now one of the best run to boot. Shows all the major sporting events, and they have a big screen TV which thankfully they only use if there is a demand. Good food - the usual pub fare of burgers, sausage and mash, curry and the like. A quiz ..."

"This used to be a great pub. Always liked the Gales beer. On recent visits the beer has been terrible because they are just not moving it (vicious circle!). Worse than that they have started to fob off customers with excuses that the real ale is cloudy because of an over-cold cellar. Doesn't excuse why it tastes like vinegar.

"I have gone to this pub since about 1988/89 but only every year or so, and it has never changed. It is a must if you go out to Farnham on a drink night! The tent in the garden is great on winter nights and the bar outside has good cocktails, not sure if it carries on in the winter though. Pool tables up stairs which took me years to know were there ..."
