On 15-2-2010 meonly said : "it may be welcoming but everytime i was in there was always a FIGHT BATTLE also republican walk staff drink in it I aint into that forget it not for me"
         

On 26-2-2007 luxybhoy said : "This is a great, genuine and above all welcoming bar. As previously mentioned, being of the hooped persuasion helps you enjoy the atmosphere, but if you are, and you like your beer without frills , then this is arguably the best pub in the Gallowgate. "

Obviously, not a recommended stop on the average night out, but excellent atmosphere on Celtic matchdays."

Well worth a visit if only to view the new wall mural depicting the history of Celtic FC which was recently unveiled by former Celtic player and manager Tommy Burns.. and contrary to previous comments is certainly NOT a "sectarian" watering hole."
