On 06-10-2008 highlander said : "I have drunk many a time in the 'arli' and its a great wee pub to meet people and get the craic,the bar maid that works there is gorgeous lol anyway seriously if you get the chance to go to the arli go on a sat you wont regret it....."

Went up Glasgow for the w/end and wandered around glasgow ending up at this bar..approx 20 people in and a guy playing acoustic guitar on a chair. started to chat to the locals about my music tastes and the beers started to flow..accepted the [mick] take about my country England and laughed along... then one guy gets up and plays Pretty Vacant while im smoking outside, the band ive come up to see tomorrow night Brill !!! then anoher guy gets up and plays i fought the law by the clash...which was an amazing version... The pub his filled with local talented musicians who are very friendly and made my night in Glasgow a truly superb experience and i will be back soon... Take care super scots at the Arlington Andy Notts"

Drink offers are ok and there were musicians sitting down playing whatever song came to their heads which was quirky but nice at the same time. Can get crowded and from what i have seen its not aimed at a young age group but fun none the less."
