On 06-2-2008 londongeordie said : "What a find! Stayed there 10 days during Celtic Connections and couldn't have wanted a warmer welcome. Owner and staff are amusing and friendly, as are the customers. Will definately stay there next I visit Glasgow. Three cheers for free houses and family businesses."

On 11-8-2006 glaswegian said : "It's great being able to sit in the beer garden supping a pint of real ale. This is a really good pub and one which I would recommend.The only criticism is that the beer prices are a bit on the steep side, but there again you get what you pay for."

Plenty Celtic supporters on match days, with a very friendly atmosphere and it can get very crowded, especially when the folk music ensemble comes in and takes up a quarter of the bar. Despite that, it's well worth a visit. 8/10"

On 19-4-2004 alibi said : "This is a genuine find. Excellent pub with guest ales and a good selection of decent wines. The food is excellent in the bar and in the upstairs restaurant. The owner is an eccentric who says outrageous things to customers but can be quite amusing. The only negative is that the prices are a bit on the high side."
