"Buchanan's, as the saying goes, 'Does Exactly What It Says On The Tin'!
It's a cheap city-centre bar that suits the customers who frequent it!
Homeless hostels nearby provide it with customers but any sign of trouble is sorted-out very quickly indeed.
As far as my own drinking is concerned I find it OK and prefer it to The Lorne Bar 50 yards away that thinks it's a cut-above Buchanan's because they charge almost £1 a pint more for the same product and clintele!"

"I actually remember this place from years ago when it was a lounge bar serving bar meals to the shoppers from the nearby St Enoch Centre but my God how it has changed. It now caters for down and outs attracted by its dirt cheap beer prices. eg pint of Guinness £1.60. When ordering a drink have a look at the list of "customers" positioned above the till who have been barred. A pub to avoid at all costs. "

"Although I love my cider and this pub has the cheapest in Glasgow,I would not be tempted back in here. The staff seem to congregate at one end of the bar talking rather than serving their customers. When they do deign to serve you, they make it seem like they are doing you a big favour. The tables are hardly ever cleared of used tumblers and glasses, the floor has`nt seen a mop since Moses led the tribes of Israel through the desert and they always have the "music" on too loud.Even Alibi`s "shoplifters, gypsies and losers" would`nt come in here"
