"I have to report with immense disappointment that the Scotia has removed *eight* of their handpumps and replaced them all with lager. Only real ale on on Friday was a very dull Belhaven Golden Bay. Still a good folkies pub and as friendly as ever, but very sorry to see an influx of yet more lager in Glasgow city centre."

"Fantastically atmospheric Glasgow bar. Lowlighting, plenty of well worn wood, booths and glass aplenty. Live music 5 days a week. Great!"

"A Glsgow institution. It claims to be the oldest in the town, but so do three or four others. Good selection of beers and good for the more traditional kind of music. Good basic grub too. All types drink in here. It has recently changed hands so will have to be monitored in case it goes downhill. Do NOT venture into the pool hall upstairs."
