On 27-5-2008 wingefric said : "Walkabout is not your usual pub. It is full of personality and atmosphere so if you don't like Australian food, relaxed staff and sport events it is not the place to go! The drinks are really affordable as well. You can also go there during the day for a meal and a touch of Australia. Try the Springbok or the Kangaroo burgers, my favourites!"

However, quite a good place to go for a girly night out, wouldn't recommend it on a date though, as I fell asleep on the big comfy sofa's! Cheap booze if you like the specials, less deals at weekends. An all round not bad place if you don't mind hanging with the "anything goes" type."

On 11-5-2004 alibi said : ""Australian" sports bar. Dozens of tellys all with sport on. Cheap during the week, expensive at weekends. Reasonable food available- Wallaby Burgers and the like. Gets very busy. Australian (i.e. not very bright) bar staff so you may have to speak s l o w l y. Give it a try if you can get past the bouncers."
