"Spent a enjoyable afternoon @the fold last sunday June 4th. Idle pop played the same day they belted out some classic tunes, fantastic covers of American Idiot-viritgo-god save the queen. Also did justice to covers of other bands including Oasis-undertons-beatles & griff's favorite band staus quo....so much so he played the air guitar in a locked kitchen in the back...just so he could live 4 the moment. Kronenbourg had arrived so it was even better than i thought it would be. top spot 4 Views-Music & a few beers.....recomended 2all"

"Jane and Griff took the pub over in April and are determined that it will be a well-known venue for up and coming bands. Local bands who have already played there are The Bailiffs, The Earls, Parka Stylo and yesterday there was an amazing gig by Lionel's Tamborine and guests - quirky modern acoustic folk music."
