On 12-7-2008 locka said : "Fantastic country pub come eaterie in the village of Kirkby overblow near harrogate,north yorkshire. This pub sits opposite the noted shoulder of mutton pub in the village, and for my money knocks spots off the afore mentioned establishment for the quality of its food. The beer battered haddock and chips is to die for,my partners fish pie that he had on the day was the best he had ever tasted. Good honest pub food at a very reasonable price along with very good service and a good pint to boot!. What more could you ask for?. Highly Recommended!."
