On 29-6-2012 hazellcottrell said : "I visited this location last week, when I had 2 meetings in St Ives at either end of the day. It was a great place to get a lot of work done, free wifi, good food, friendly staff, see think link for more details - http://hazellcottrell.com/2012/06/28/sometimes-there-are-too-many-distractions-at-home/"

On 16-9-2004 dht1 said : "I'm not sure if Hally40 is confused, but I'm not quite sure what is meant by "The prices are extremely competitive for a small Cambridgeshire Hotel". Still, it's got two bars, a pool table, and serves "Sharpe's" ale, if you care. and is in the centre of town. Nothing particularly noteworthy to say about it...!"

On 10-5-2004 hally40 said : "The Golden Lion Hotel re-opened last November (2003)after a lengthy 6-month renovation. It really was suffering prior to the change of ownership. Now the bar and restaurant facilities are excellent with a good range of drinks and an interesting and varied menu. The prices are extremely competitive for a small Cambridgeshire Hotel. This establishment is now very well worth a visit."
