On 28-7-2005 mattthecat said : "This is the nearest pub to my house by a long way but it will never be my local. It could be so good but just misses due to a lack in imagination and investment. It has good beer, a decent building and a fairly good location - in any other pub in town they would have been taken advantage of. I really do hope that they do something with this place."
