| On 12-7-2009 thistlec said : "superb weekend just gone, morris men on saturday afternoon with a live band in the evening. just managed to make it down for the regular sunday bbq. next weekend july 17,18,19 the annual beer festival in aid of help for heroes. even if it rains it'll be fun. 8 draught ales some even from the beer tent in the garden. daily bbq as long as the weather holds."
On 02-2-2008 digger7197 said : "Our mucker brian took me and my mate rob to the oak we are not from around here,but by god were we made to feel welcome the staff are grate bar staff sexy, land lady and her partner the best i have come across the places is a must we have never laghd so much lots and lots of thanks.

The website could do with a straighten out though."
On 10-5-2007 boozy-bird said : "This pub has now had the same couple running it for over a year(this must be a RECORD!) and they are great! The pub has completely changed! The real ale selection in great and without doubt the best pint you'll get in Leatherhead! Over 21's after 7pm, so no kids under your feet. Everyone really friendly, not clicky like it used to be and the managers are always about. Staff are really efficient and on the ball, but still good fun. Saturday night is the best night, FREE ENTRY to live bands every week and a brilliant atmosphere. Went in this weekend with my mate for a quick pint and stayed til closing time! ROCKING!"
