"There was a serious problem with the beer last night - both the Leeds Best and one of the guest ales were not on very good form at all."

"Called in here mid-week about 11.40am. I was the only customer so was curious to see the young woman behind the bar busy pulling half pints
into pint glasses, so curious that I asked her why ! she said she was getting ready for the rush. Now call me old fashioned but if I ask for a pint and half full glass is produced from under the bar and topped up, I would refuse it.
If I order a pint I want a fresh one.
I was there until about 12.20 and the rush never
materialised, only a handful of people drifted in. Don’t know what happened to the line up of half full glasses under the bar ?
The beers from Leeds Brewery are very good but a little expensive. The pub doesn’t have a pub atmosphere. The walls are blank, no pictures, no mirrors, no adverts.
It felt more like a modern sort of shop rather than a pub.
Because of its position in the town centre it shouldn’t go short of trade.

"What's this? A new pub opened? That is different. Everything about Leeds Brewery is different. This, their latest pub, is 200 yards from the railway station. It is not a traditional pub, more of a wine bar but it has the full range of LB's beers in the wickets so is very popular. Also does food but I never got past the "Leeds Blonde""
