On 25-10-2009 pintplease said : "Usually a good range of hand pulled ales at a reasonable price and very well looked after. What more more can an old ale cart ask for. "
       

On 07-2-2008 wildwillie said : "Heavy metal night at the New Roscoe and the sounds of bands like Cotheria were washed down with Tetleys, Abbot & Speckled Hen from the cask. Staff friendly & good humoured. Remarkable how a music venue still feels like a comfortable pub. Also nice to see some fittings from the original Roscoe which was knocked down some 30 years ago."
