"Close to Kirkgate market and the parish church. This pub provides city centre drinkers with an array of decent ales plus live music!"

"This pub always has a good range of well kept hand pulled ales. The bar staff know how to pull a good pint, that doesnít need topping up and holds its head to the very end.
There the praise ends, itís a mucky scruffy pub and always has been.
Whilst the beer is good they charge over the odds for it and thatís why this boozer boozes elsewhere

"How this pub is still open is a mystery to me. Nothing has been spent on it at least 25 years. The toliets are filthy and basically the pub is well basic and dirty. Very overpriced beer with questionable quality. "

"Nice pub close to the markets & always got good selection of draught beer. Gets very crowded at weekends."
