"Spent 3 days in Leeds as a foreigner. This pub gave me the true feeling of real English pubs! Great place, warm atmosphere, friendly personnel, great beers!
Their extra strong cider was a real unique beer for me.

"Lovely pub and beer and John the manager is a great guy. Downside is it's just too expensive."

"Walking into the Grove is like stepping back in time to when pubs were warm, welcoming establishments. Superlatives fail me trying to describe the atmosphere in what must be one of the five best pubs in the north of England. Nice range of hand-drawn ales from Deuchars, Elland, Daleside, Moorhouses and Leeds Brewery plus scrumpy on draught. The pub is surrounded by tall modern buildings but once you get inside you are in an oasis of calm & sanity. Seek out this pub and enjoy."

"Not just eight hand pulled beers, but an excellent portfolio. Also worth going for the banter; no need for cabaret with staff like you'll find here, plus Donut the dog. A must for those who like real ale and real pubs."
