On 05-2-2011 shandyman said : "unfortunately the pub is not what it once was. The food is still good, the toilets are dire and have the gents urinals have been in need of repair for months and getting worse. Also at times it appears that it is the only free house that you can't get leeds brewary beer in but in wetherspoons etc no problem."

On 16-1-2009 shandyman said : "Without doubt this is the best new pub on the leeds scene in years.Everybody is treated exactly the same regardless of what you order and you are made to feel very welcome.I Went for a meal for my 20th wedding anniversary and felt like i was part of the family.Not the cheapest pub but the extra few pence is well spent."
