On 19-3-2010 lordmilton said : "The Woodman Pub is an old fashioned type of Public House. It has singalong nights accompanied by a great organist who often gets drunk as the evening wears on as he begins to fart and belch at the ladies whilst picking his nose. Tuesdays is Latvian night with old folk songs from the mother country, followed by the landlord who does impersonations of eastern block accents and bodily functions , hilarious. Mondays is quiz night which is then taped and used on the BBC 1, 'Fat Obese Chris Moyles Show' the next day in its entirety. Lord Milton often used to do a one man show singing classics by Shirley Bassey, Al Jolson and Charlie Drake on Friday nights. However since his lumbago accident he now does only an hour show suspended from the ceiling wearing a Kaftan stood atop a bar stool .On a good night he leaves a pool of pulsating sweat which the Landlord then sells as cockroach repellent to his many adoring aged fans at .20p a bottle. The beer goes down like wine and tastes much the same , its a cheap night and if you've ever given clothing to a charity shop ,......you might see it being worn in, The Woodman Inn. Worth a night out to be sure . Enjoy , its later than you think ."

The drinks are also extremely expensive for what they are and the pub. The clientele is middle aged and older, and not very friendly There is no smoking facilities as such apart from a canopy over the back door. There is no heating provided where smokers go There is always some kind of fight going on in the pub."
