"First visit to the pub since it was refurbuished. Initial impression was very positve with high class decor, very upmarket feeling compared to other restaurants/pubs in the area.
Staff 1st class.
However, less than impressed with the 40 minute wait for a table. Whilst it was a Sunday, the waiting time did seem too long.

"Modernised pub in the "gastro" image. Open all day at least some days. Food is fine but imported from Brake Bros. Not home made as far as I can see. Very pleasant environment to sit in and has small courtyard in warm weather. Much more pleasant than it used to be. ..."
