On 05-3-2011 photosmart said : "Feb 2011 Booked a meal for seven people when we arrived we were made very welcome nice clean pub it had a good range of beers and spirits we had a drink in the bar before we went into the dining room we went on a saturday and pre-booked the restaurant was full later on our meals were excellent and very good value and were very well presented sarah are waitress was excellent nothing was to much trouble for her all in all a very nice pub we shall be going back you can be sure of that one of the best we have found for a good while and one last thing you are not ripped with the drinks which makes a change these days k meddings"

On 04-8-2009 minerman said : "The landlord here also runs the crown in Handsacre, and you couldent find two more different pubs!! the fox is a traditional pub with really cosy surroundings, the food was excellent and well priced, the beer was good. If i lived in the area i would use this as my local for a drink or a meal, we were well impressed. Much nicer atmosphere than the crown, but i think they must be targeting different audiences. RECOMMENDED!! "
