On 04-11-2011 pubandbeerlover said : "living near, and now with time to spare in the evenings, called in 3/11/11 to sample the beer after being ignored at the bar in favour of a regular, got served , found an empty table and sat down, after 5 mins we were told in a offhand manor, we could not sit there as it was booked . even though the table was completely devoid of anything apart from my glass, and no sign of the favoured guests , may I suggest the strap line IF YOUR NOT EATING YOUR NOT WANTED "

On 18-6-2006 boycie said : "A fine old country pub of the low ceiling variety - inglenook fireplace and various other nooks and crannies. Very cosy and friendly, they serve bar and restaurant meals along with a reasonable range of ales / beers. "
