On 30-3-2008 busbybabe said : "A very nice homely pub,great variety of real ales at reasonable prices,served by friendly staff,in a comfortably furnished environment,toilet facilities are spotless and towels, soap, and hot and cold water are always available.In addition music to suit mature people serves as an entertaing background to a very friendly atmosphere. "
       

On 06-6-2007 jordanc said : "Not too bad a pub, although be warned.. a lot of homosexuals go in there for dates. So, again -- if you're not into a quick one behind the toilets then be careful!"
       

On 20-8-2006 killer said : "A very strange pub, no welcome to it at all, the owners are very rude and overcharge on the drinks. They have a wide selection of local beers however they are the dregs from drip trays. A lot of young drinkers go in and also the decor is something out of the 1800's. Certainly do not reccomend. "
       

On 18-9-2005 rallyman said : "A good 'local' pub. Sells a large variety of guest beers & imported lagers with a selection of ciders thrown in. A fairly busy pub, just off the centre of the village. The landlords son is geting ready to take his fathers place at the helm & is getting just as knowledgable as his father. The only negative,(if it is one)is that this pub doesn't serve any food. A fact that is more than recompensed by the variety & quality of drinks"
