"This pub and restaurant is well located on a bend in the River Medway and so has the river running along two sides. Beer is OK but the food has deteriorated recently. Still does a good trade though, presumably because of its nice location. Open air dining on two sides. ..."

"As a regular using the George in Yalding I take some exception to the comments made by earoles50 after his visit on 7th March 2008. Mr earoles50 (surely spelt incorrectly) sadly has not told the entire truth concerning the events that took place on his visit. The publican Joe Morris was asked to open the pub from 11.00am that Sunday mornin ..."
