"They ordered a prawn cocktail and Garlic Mushrooms and they had eaten everything apart from one quarter of brown bread, yes there was a tiny bit of mould on the bread which I was sorry about but the bread was in date and I invited them to come an check that all our food was fresh and in date but they declined. I have built this pub up and been here for approx 8yrs we have the health and hygene checks and always pass we still have the same and even more regular customers every week and we have never had a problem and we ALWAYS ASK IF EVERYTHING WAS OK WITH THERE FOOD AND WE ALWAYS GET A POSSITIVE RESPONSE I am the licensee and the last thing I would do is serve food out of date because I am very meticulous and take pride in everything that I do."

"lovely pub shame about the food! will never so much as eat a packet of crisps from this place again after my mums bread with her starter was mouldy. complained to the waitress who was very understanding. however, the cook was extremely rude to us (unfortunately do not have a name for her as she did not introduce herself, she addressed my mum as 'Right' after walking out of the kitchen to stand over us while we were sitting down in front of a busy restaurant which is so rude and intimidating) had to be prompted to apologise to my mum for serving mouldy food.
received a full refund for the whole meal after many times of asking in which we was told 'well go to the bar and get your money then'
so another batch of embarrassment at a busy bar for paying customers who have done nothing wrong
like i said lovely little pub. nice atmosphere but will not be recommending the food"
