Always has a fantastic range of real ales....lots of other choices too!
Seems to have a fair bit going on.... Free bands on a sunday night, quizzes mondays, tuesdays (get there about 9.45 for the free sandwiches!!)and thursdays.
Food not too bad at all. Staff v friendly (well most of them!!) Nice vibe to the place.

"Hope you like the image I just uploaded. Outward appearances are this pub's best feature I'm afraid. I had the terrible misfortune to actually work at this place as trainee manager back in 1990; it's just 5 minutes walk away from my home.
Horrible beer, food very bland, clientel leave a lot to be desired, definitely a "locals" pub. No real ale ..."
