A fine selection of cask ales is available. The present owners are making a real good job of an ongoing renovation programme which is clearly paying off judging by how busy they always are. I would suggest you book!! They are both child and dog friendly and have disabled facilities, as I found out as my friend who was with me is disabled. Dont leave it too long to visit.

"This is my first bad review ever! The service is nothing to write home about and the food was mediocre. When I went to pay the bill, I could not believe it! They charged me 2% for paying with my DEBIT card. When I queried it, the manager said " Bring cash then." If the meal and service had been more pleasant I wouldn't have minded so much.
