Was a bit annoyed when we called in for a few pints recently. It has four inside drinking areas, 3 of which were showing a football match. Also the outside smoking bar had a big screen with it on. So we went into the 'quiet' snug,where there were some other people uninterested in the match. Next thing, about 8 footie fans are ushered in by the bar staff, & the TV is turned on. Didn't even finish our beers, just left. There was room for the fans in the other bars, so why not keep one area without a TV on?"

The beer is excellent, the prices are great and the pub in my opinion is one of the finest in Nantwich... if not the best!
I started going to The Boot & Shoe around fourteen months ago, and since then I always pop in when I'm in town.
My two favourite things about the Boot and Shoe are the Bar staff and the food. The owners are a great couple and this shines through the whole pub, it's staff and to it's customers.
The food (and the service) is out of this world and you'll not get cheaper elsewhere for the quality and the quantity! (and you really need a good appetite, because there is a LOT of quantity!!)
I recommend this pub to all my friends and anyone I meet in Nantwich. The food, the service, the ale... it's just one of those pubs that makes Nantwich what it is.
Also, it's for the whole family too, as there's a great outdoor area and outside bar. Way too many things to say good about this pub - you have to go and experience it for yourself."
