On 15-2-2008 buckeee0 said : "Still a good pub with a great selection of real ales on sale.This is a real old-fasioned style pub that even has it's own snug.There is an air raid shelter under the pub with can be accessed through a trap door and down a winding stairway.This is a pub that attracts all age groups."
         

On 27-12-2004 mauler said : "A thriving atmosphere, with several small drinking areas, up to 16 real ales on sale at any given time, also stocks many foreign beers."
